Robert Genise

Before White Oak, he was CEO of Aergen Management Services, Inc. from 2015 to 2019. The international business provided aircraft and engine leasing, trading and management services, specializing in mid-life narrow-body aircraft and engines aged 10–15 years.

He previously led DAE Capital, the aircraft leasing division of Dubai Aerospace Enterprise, as CEO from 2007 to 2011. Before DAE, he was a founder, President and CEO of Boullioun Aviation Services, building it into one of the world’s top leasing businesses.

At Boullioun, Mr. Genise initially served as SVP of Marketing, responsible for developing and implementing the company’s strategic plan and for business development. He also represented the business in developing Singapore Aircraft Leasing Enterprise, a joint venture with Singapore Airlines, and served as a Director for 10 years.

His earlier Chemical Bank roles included SVP of the Chemical Business Credit Corporation, managing asset-based finance and leasing across credit, marketing and administration. In 1985, he served as Managing Director of the bank’s Special Finance Group, responsible for its international aviation banking and leasing business.

Mr. Genise serves on the Boards of Frontier Airlines, Aloft Aero Architects, Inc. and Dimensional Mechanics. He is a Trustee and Chairman Emeritus of Seattle’s Museum of Flight and an Advisory Board member of the Albers School of Business at Seattle University.

Education and qualifications

Mr. Genise holds an MBA from the University of Connecticut, a law degree from Pace University and a BA from NYU.
