Mr. Pereira is Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at White Oak ABL, responsible for delivering the full suite of White Oak products to its Australasian clients.
Professional background
Before White Oak, he founded Recon Finance Corporation and served as its Executive Chairman. The specialist asset receivable finance company focused on Australia’s SME sector.
Mr. Pereira has over 25 years of investment banking experience, leading capital markets businesses for Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse and Royal Bank of Scotland in Sydney, Melbourne, Singapore and London.
He has raised debt capital in different markets and environments for clients including Telstra, BHP, Origin Energy, Woodside Petroleum, Qantas, CBA, Westpac and ANZ. His responsibilities have included raising several billion dollars for investment-grade and sub-investment-grade companies through traditional liquid markets and illiquid (private) capital markets.

Mr. Pereira holds a B.S. in Neuroscience with honors from the University of Melbourne.
