Mr. Tanjeloff is Managing Principal of White Oak Real Estate Capital, responsible for strategy, originations and overall management of its commercial real estate lending and credit investing business.
Professional background
He was previously Head of Real Estate Investments at Melody Capital Partners, a New York-based private credit and special situations investment management fund. He launched and managed its real estate lending and investing activities and served on the firm’s Investment Committee and Management Committee.
As an investment banker before Melody, Mr. Tanjeloff helped launch and create CBRE Capital Advisors, Inc., the real estate investment banking platform of CBRE, Inc. He also held positions in JPMorgan’s Real Estate & Lodging Investment Banking group, where he was involved in over $100 billion of transactions across real estate sectors and capital markets.
He served as an Independent Board Member and chaired various committees of an SEC-reporting company in gaming and hospitality. He has also held advisory board positions in early-stage real estate ventures.
Education and qualifications
Mr. Tanjeloff holds an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and a B.S. from Cornell University.
