Mr. Marzen originates and underwrites new investment opportunities for White Oak’s private debt funds. He has nearly 20 years of experience in banking and commercial finance, along with extensive experience in business operations and management evaluation.
Professional background
Before joining White Oak in 2014, Mr. Marzen was Senior Vice President (Loan Origination) at Wells Fargo Capital Finance. His earlier origination and underwriting roles were at AloStar Business Credit, First Niagara Commercial Finance, Golub Capital, CapitalSource Finance, CIT Financial and Fleet Capital Corp.
He began his career as a CPA with Deloitte and Touche. He is an active member of Opus Connect, the Commercial Finance Association, the Turnaround Management Association and the Association for Corporate Growth, among others.
Education and qualifications
Mr. Marzen earned a B.S. with a double major in Accounting and Finance from George Mason University.
